ECOA - the way forward
At a recent meeting of its steering committee in Amsterdam the organisation for European Operators originally formed in June adopted the name the European Casino Operators Association. This new body, to be registered in Brussels, initially represents some 60 casinos in Europe and has attracted great interest from potential members.

Dates Set for 2004 AMOA Show
The dates for the 2004 AMOA Expo and Fun Expo have been set for Thursday, September 30 to Saturday, October 2, in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV. The Amusement & Music Operators Association (AMOA), in response to its originally-scheduled 2004 show dates being on top of the Jewish Holiday of Rosh Hashanah in mid-September, had opted to move the dates of its show to October 7-9 in Vegas, but subsequently learned its revised dates conflicted with the World Waterpark Association's annual show, as well as some European trade venues.

Norsk Tipping choosen EssNet Interactive as VLT system supplier
EssNet Interactive AB today announced that the Company has been selected by Norsk Tipping as the preferred supplier of a VLT system with 10,000 terminals, a central system and games. The decision follows an extensive evaluation process, following the Norwegian rules for public procurement. The project to implement the new system is expected to be finalised in December 2005. Further details will be released upon the Company's signing of a formal agreement with Norsk Tipping in November.

Games Media aims to make impactful London debut
ATEI will celebrate its 60th anniversary next January in some style. Alongside the show's international collection of long-term exhibitors, the London spectacular will feature at least 32 companies making their first ATEI appearance. The 32 debutantes, which are drawn from 11 countries, constitute 14 per cent of the total ATEI exhibitor base and will occupy 1,025 square metres (11,029sq.ft.) of stand space - just less than 10 per cent of the show floor.
