IGT to Sell On-Line Lottery Operator
International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT) announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to sell IGT OnLine Entertainment Systems, Inc. to Scientific Games Corporation (Nasdaq: SGMS) for $143 million in cash subject to closing adjustments and regulatory approvals. BayTek Purchases Meltec Inc.
BayTek has officially announced their purchase of long-time novelty redemption manufacturer, Meltec Inc., was made final on Friday, September 5, 2003. A BayTek crew, headed by Operations Manager, Chad Schroeder, arrived in Oregon shortly thereafter, to coordinate shipping efforts of all existing assets. The inventory is being assessed and shipped to BayTek headquarters in Pulaski, Wisconsin, where a receiving crew awaits.

ICE exhibitors increase presence

The "Fright Factor" on the IAAPA annual event
This year's IAAPA Orlando 2003 Annual Convention and Trade Show has added a frightening feature that could place some attendees completely in the dark - the dark zone that is. EA Creates New Development Studio in Montreal
Electronic Arts announced an initiative to create a game development sudio in Montreal, Quebec.
